Saudi experts: canceling visas between Iran and Saudi Arabia is possible

Pak Sahafat – 2 Saudi military experts mentioned the possibility of canceling tourist visas between Iran and Saudi Arabia in order to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to the Pak Sahafat News Agency, “Isa Al-Faye”, a retired Saudi military officer and an expert in strategic affairs and international security, emphasized in a conversation with Sputnik: Relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran have witnessed the opening of a new chapter since last March after the signing of a diplomatic agreement between the two countries.

He further added: The process of implementing the provisions of this agreement has started since then. We do not consider it unlikely that tourist visas between the two countries will be canceled in the context of the return of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Al-Faye added: These relations have positive dimensions for the two countries in terms of economic income and trade exchanges, as well as more cultural connections between the people of Saudi Arabia and Iran. They can get more information about the tourist areas of the two countries.

He stated: By following the preventive legal and legal guidelines and implementing the security agreements between the two countries, it is possible to advance the development in bilateral relations and ensure that there is no going back. Instead of encouraging tribal conflicts in the region that we witnessed in the past years, natural, human and financial resources can be used for construction purposes.

On the other hand, “Abdullah Al-Asiri”, a Saudi military expert, emphasized that the return of political relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia from a few months ago is due to the desire of the political leaders of both countries to strengthen these relations in line with their common interests.

He added: the words of Iranian officials in this regard are the result of cooperation and efforts made during the past period, and Tehran and Riyadh have taken a common political approach to strengthen these relations.

Al-Asiri continued: The discussion of canceling visas between the two countries is the result of the efforts made, however, at this stage, more tourist visas are considered. Bilateral cooperation can have new dimensions and prospects in different fields.

In a message to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the president also congratulated the country’s National Day and expressed his hope to witness the increasing expansion of Fimabin’s fraternal cooperation in all fields by taking advantage of the many commonalities of the two nations.
