Saudi Foreign Minister: We demand an immediate ceasefire/ the aid to Gaza is very little

PNN – Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan considered the aid to the Gaza Strip to be too little and said: We demand an immediate ceasefire and an end to the siege of Gaza.

According to Pakistan News Network from New York, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, who traveled to the United States to participate in the UN Security Council meeting at the level of foreign ministers, added to the reporters at the UN headquarters: We demand an immediate ceasefire, an end to the blockade of Gaza and the start of a real peace process.

He stated: The ceasefire is a humanitarian duty and an urgent necessity, and we are facing a catastrophic situation in Gaza. There should be a ceasefire, the arrival of humanitarian aid and an end to the blockade of Gaza.

Saudi Foreign Minister stated: The aid that entered Gaza is very little and efforts should be made to lift the blockade of the Strip.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also warned on Tuesday night at the UN Security Council meeting about developments in the Middle East and Palestine that the Gaza Strip is on the brink of a disaster that will have dire consequences for the region.

Addressing the members of the UN Security Council, he said: The Palestinian people are suffering under the shadow of the siege, bombardment and silence of the international community and the Security Council has failed to issue a resolution to stop the war in Gaza.

Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister emphasized that achieving lasting peace is possible with a two-state solution.
