Saudi media: Israel seeks to divide Syria using the Druze card.
In an article titled “Israel’s Massacre… and the Lie of Supporting Minorities!”, the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh examined developments in Syria and the Zionist regime’s goals in the country through its infiltration of the Druze community and wrote: There is no country on earth without minorities. Pluralism is an integral part of the human structure, and difference does not mean separation. Historical evidence proves that minorities, no matter how small they may seem, cannot be easily marginalized; rather, whenever they feel threatened, they cling to their identity and fill the world with noise, which is the instinct of every human being.
The Saudi media added: “In the recent events in the Druze province of Sweida in southern Syria, we witnessed how Israel is trying to exploit the Syrian Druze crisis as a tool for division and chaos in the country. Of course, this behavior from a regime that has never recognized natural borders except through force and violence is completely expected and not surprising.”
Riyadh emphasized: Israel was not founded on a peace project, but on a policy of imposing action through force, so it sees no way to survive except by exporting its crises and fomenting discord in its surroundings, and inciting sedition and division is part of this regime’s strategy for survival.
