Trump is scheduled to arrive in Riyadh on Tuesday to attend the summit and on a two-day visit. Qatar and the UAE are Trump’s next two travel destinations.
The economic summit is attended by a group of prominent executives from American companies and Saudi ministers. Trump is scheduled to discuss with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about Riyadh’s $600 billion investment in Washington over the next four years.
He had expressed hope that this figure would reach $1 trillion, although there are many doubts about the possibility of achieving this goal in light of the decline in oil prices.
