Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah: Our response will be strong, effective, and efficient’

According to Ahed, “Sayed Hassan Nasrallah”, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, in a speech on the occasion of the 7th Martyrs’ Day of the Zionist regime’s attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, referring to the Zionists’ act of fear and childishness in breaking the sound barrier above Beirut, said minutes before the speech: In a provocative act, the Israeli enemy has resorted to breaking the sound barrier with its fighters during the ceremony and during the speech to scare the attendees and create terror among them.

He added: “The secret of our strength lies in continuity because the elimination of our commanders does not harm our determination to continue the path.” Martyr Seyyed Fouad Shekar was a descendant of the founders of the resistance, but he was also one of the commanders of the resistance.

Nasrallah continued: Seyyed Mohsen started his career as a warrior, but soon his leadership talent emerged. He was always present in the basic battles of resistance. Seyyed Mohsen was associated with special and especially martyrdom-seeking operations. He was one of the factors of victory in 2000. Also, Seyyed Mohsen was in charge of the central operations room of the 33-day war, and he did not leave this responsibility for the entire 33 days.

Nasrallah said: Seyyed Fouad Shukr was one of the strategic minds of the resistance and had a high ability in planning. Seyed Mohsen was in the operation room day and night from the first day of the Al-Aqsa storm operation.

He added: that Seyyed Fouad Shekar had a highly religious culture, a broad public culture, and an excellent power of expression. He was a teacher and coach, making men of commanders and martyrs. Seyyed Fouad Shekar used to raise both the problem and the solutions. He was like a mountain range in difficulties and you could rely on him.

Nasrallah said: We acknowledge the pain and sorrow when the commanders were martyred because we are human beings, but we are also sad and jealous because they reached the place of martyrdom. We acknowledge the great loss we saw from Seyyed Mohsen’s martyrdom, but this does not shake us or stop us in any way. The reason for this is the continuation of operations, operations in (Zionist) settlements, and a new depth of (occupied territories).
