PNN – The leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate Chuck Schumer has reacted to Trump’s warmongering actions toward Venezuela.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting Al Jazeera, Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate, emphasized that Trump’s reckless actions regarding Venezuela are bringing the United States closer and closer to yet another costly foreign war.

He added: Under our Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war, not the President; Congress has not authorized the use of military force against Venezuela.
Schumer stated: Americans are tired of endless foreign wars that have taken the lives of countless members of our forces and have wasted valuable resources. This is not an “America First” policy.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, quoting informed sources, reported that U.S. President Donald Trump, during a recent phone conversation with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, threatened him with the use of force.
According to the report, in this phone conversation, Trump, by expressing interventionist and warmongering positions toward Venezuela, threatened Maduro that if he did not step down from power, he would resort to the use of force.
Trump has also declared Venezuela’s airspace closed!
