Secret negotiations begin between the Israeli regime and Syria

PNN – The Israeli TV channel 13 reported secret talks between Syria and Israel mediated by the United Arab Emirates. According to informed sources, the talks focus on security, intelligence and trust-building issues between the parties.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Israeli TV Channel 13 announced (Wednesday) that the United Arab Emirates is mediating negotiations between the Israeli regime and Syria.

Accordingly, Reuters reported, citing three sources familiar with the negotiations, that the United Arab Emirates has established a secret channel for talks between Israel and Syria, focusing on security and intelligence issues as well as “confidence-building” between the parties.

One source said that the talks began a few days after the visit of Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the head of the Syrian government, to the United Arab Emirates on April 13.

Another intelligence source cited by Reuters in this report also stated that former Syrian and Israeli intelligence officials were involved in this mechanism.

However, the United Arab Emirates, the Israeli regime, and Syria have not commented on the report.

In recent days, the Zionist regime, with the aim of infiltrating Syria through the Druze community and supporting them, attacked near the presidential palace in Damascus, which prompted a serious reaction from Turkey and the Syrian government.

In this regard, the Israeli political authorities issued a statement warning Al-Jolani that they would not withdraw from southern Syria and that any harm to the Druze would result in a serious response from the regime’s army.
