Security Council postponeded the Gaza resolution till Monday.

Quoting from Al Jazeera, the Agence France-Presse, quoting diplomatic sources, announced that the vote in the Security Council on the draft resolution of the ceasefire in Gaza, which was supposed to be held this Saturday, has been postponed until Monday.

According to this report, diplomatic sources announced that the UN Security Council postponed the vote on the draft resolution presented by the seven non-permanent member countries of this council regarding the ceasefire in Gaza during the month of Ramadan to Monday.

The postponement of the vote on the draft resolution came after Washington entered into negotiations on it, the sources added.

It should be noted that Russia and China vetoed the draft resolution presented by the United States, which called for a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Opponents called this draft political, which leaves Israel’s hand free to continue killing the Palestinian nation.
