“Selim Hajjah”: Palestinian prisoner with a collection of anti-Zionist operations.
According to Al Jazeera, “Saleem Muhammad Saeed Hajjah”, a Palestinian prisoner and resistance fighter, was born in 1972 in the village of Barqa, a suburb of Nablus. He joined the Islamic resistance movement Hamas during the 1987 Intifada and participated in several anti-Zionist operations.
He was arrested several times by the Zionist regime, the last of which was in 2002, when he was sentenced to 16 life sentences and 30 years in prison. Despite his arrest, he continued his education and published the book “The Path of Thorns,” in which he presented his experiences in the struggle.
Hajjah completed his primary education in his village and after completing his secondary education, he joined the Faculty of Islamic Sharia at An-Najah National University, but was unable to complete his university studies due to repeated arrests by the Israeli regime in 1991. However, he continued his education in prison and received his bachelor’s degree in history from Al-Aqsa University.
