Senior Hamas official: All our conditions were met in the ceasefire agreement.

According to the Palestinian “Shehab” news agency, “Izzat al-Rishq”, a member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, said in response to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza: “The conditions that we put forward since the beginning of the genocidal war and the Israeli invasion were the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army, a permanent ceasefire, the free and proud return of the refugees, the exchange of prisoners in an honorable manner, the opening of the crossings and the import of aid, all of which have been fulfilled.”

He added: “We took all these things from the enemy by the grace of God, and the occupier was brought to its knees.”

Osama Hamdan, another Hamas leader, also reacted to the Gaza ceasefire agreement on Wednesday night and told Al Jazeera Mubasher: “The current agreement is almost the same agreement that former US President Joe Biden proposed last May, and Hamas agreed to it.”

Hamdan said that “the content of the agreement leads to a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and a return to the situation before October 7,” adding that the resistance signed this agreement from a position of strength, not from a position of withdrawal.

Hamdan emphasized that “with the completion of the three stages, we will enter a complete ceasefire,” emphasizing that the Trump administration played a role in achieving this agreement.

He stated that “the management of Gaza after the war is a Palestinian decision,” emphasizing that the Palestinians will not give up their right to manage their own affairs in Gaza.

The Hamas leader also emphasized that the Palestinian resistance in Gaza remains resilient and steadfast in the face of defeat.
