Senior Hezbollah member: Missile stockpiles and resistance power remain strong.
“Mahmoud Qamati,” the deputy head of the Lebanese Hezbollah political council, announced in an interview with Al-Manar TV: “The resistance’s missile reserves and all its capabilities remain intact, and we fired missiles at Israel until the last minutes of the war [and the implementation of the ceasefire].
Qamati stated that the resistance’s current patience is to support the Lebanese people and fulfill the commitment given to the mediators in the ceasefire to provide sufficient time to resolve the issues.”
He said: “The resistance’s patience lasted for 60 days, but from the 61st day, the situation will change. The existing forces are considered occupiers and will be dealt with accordingly.”
Qamati announced that the resistance is fully present, ready, strong, and equipped.
He noted that after the enemy received a blow, the United States quickly sought to establish a ceasefire.
Regarding the response to the ceasefire violations by Israel, the Deputy Chairman of the Political Council of Hezbollah in Lebanon also said that our patience with the ceasefire violations was to provide the basis for the return of the people to the south, but now there are demands to respond to the violations.
Regarding adherence to the ceasefire agreement, Qamati also stated that either all parties adhere to the agreement or no one is committed to it.
He warned that talk about disarming the resistance is leading Lebanon towards chaos and that the resistance’s political program is based on dialogue and interaction.
Qamati, supporting the election of a new president in Lebanon, emphasized the resistance’s efforts to elect this position at the appointed time and said that the resistance would take the necessary measures to achieve this goal.
Finally, regarding relations with Arab countries, he added that the resistance seeks friendly relations with all Arab countries and does not intend to provoke anyone.
