PNN – Idi Eysenkot, a former Israeli security official and a retired Israeli war cabinet official, who resigned along with former Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz, also said: Netanyahu has opposed any change in the goals of the Gaza war, none of which have been achieved so far.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Eisenkot added: Netanyahu decided not to accept the offer of a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas due to political and party issues.
Eisenkot clarified: Netanyahu deprives the defense minister and the security apparatus of legitimacy, and Netanyahu’s speech yesterday bothered me.
Benny Gantz, the former Minister of War and the leader of the “Official Camp” party of the Zionist regime, also revealed an hour ago that Netanyahu was an obstacle in the prisoner exchange agreement with the Hamas movement, including the first targeted exchange.

Gantz said that if Netanyahu could not withstand international pressure, he should return home.
He added that Netanyahu cannot return the Israeli hostages alive, because he is busy with his political survival.
Tens of thousands of Zionists demonstrated against Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, occupied Jerusalem, Beer Saba and other occupied Palestinian cities on Monday night, demanding an agreement with Hamas.
This demonstration was held to pressure the cabinet to immediately sign the prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas.
Meanwhile, a nationwide strike was held on Monday in the occupied territories following the call of the trade union and reaction to the discovery of the bodies of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
The insistence of Netanyahu and his cabinet to impose more demands in negotiations with Hamas as an obstacle to the ceasefire agreement has provoked public anger and increased pressure on Netanyahu.
