PNN – Four Shia and Sunni experts discussed the influence of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts in the current era in a roundtable hosted by the Islamic Center of Moscow, and pointing to the influence of the Islamic Revolution in world developments, they emphasized: the current world developments are a confirmation of the correctness of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this round table was held as the final part of the ceremony of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s passing and with the presence of Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Hojat al-Islam and Muslimeen Mehdi Bakhtavar, head of the Islamic Center of Moscow, and a group of cultural activists and Muslims from the region.
Great work in the history of mankind
The head of the Central Mufti Department of Russia said in a speech at this round table: “We show our love to God by our actions and carrying out His orders.” We know that there are people who have done many things for God’s religion, and in this context, we can rightly mention Imam Khomeini.
Mufti Anar Ramzanov added: When we gather for such events, we remember great people who had a great impact on the history of mankind and this is an impact that will last until the Day of Judgment.
Current developments are a seal of approval on the correctness of Imam’s thought
This Russian Sunni religious scholar continued: Participating in the commemoration ceremony of Imam Khomeini means that we show God that we love those who have done important things in the way of God, His religion, Ahl al-Bayt and the Qur’an.
Expressing regret that our brothers and sisters are being killed in Palestine, Mufti Ramazanov recalled Imam Khomeini’s (RA) guidelines on supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and naming the International Quds Day and said: The legacy that Imam left behind showed well that the vector and direction he set was correct and that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fighting the devil.
The need to introduce Imam to the new generation
In another part of this round table, the director of Al-Mustafa University’s representative office in Russia and the Eurasian area reminded the Supreme Leader’s words about the need to introduce Imam Khomeini to the new generation and said: To get to know a personality, one of the solutions is his written and oral works and his will.
Hojjat-ul-Islam va al-Muslimeen Rasul Abdullahi added: Another way to recognize personalities is their practical works that have been remembered and are of interest in connection with Imam Khomeini (RA), the Islamic Revolution and the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He pointed out: One of the other ways to know a character is through his students. For this reason, we should refer to his students, including the Supreme Leader, and get to know the Imam.
The lesson that Imam taught us
Zulfiqar Mikaelzadeh, one of the clerics of the Republic of Azerbaijan, also referred to the statements of Imam Khomeini in the field of fighting against oppression and helping the oppressed, and said: The main policy of the oppressors of the world is to distance people from their values ​​and abilities.
He continued: The point that Imam Khomeini reminded us was that the tyrants of the world are not able to destroy the determination and will of others and that any society that believes in its own ability can resist and stand against any tyrant.
Russian social and religious activist Emil Ashourov also expressed his views on the impact of the Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini on the rise of the nations of the region against oppression and support for the oppressed, including the Palestinian people, in another part of this round table.
