PNN – Two people were killed in a shooting at a dormitory at the University of South Carolina, officials said.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, South Carolina State University officials announced in a statement that two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting at a South Carolina State University dormitory, causing the university to be closed.
The shooting was reported at around 9:15 p.m. local time in an apartment in the student housing complex, according to a statement posted on the university’s Facebook page, Reuters reported.
Further official details were not immediately available, including whether the shooter was still at large.
The identities of the victims of the shooting have not yet been confirmed by the university.
