PNN – CBC News reported Wednesday that a shooting at a high school in the Tumbler Ridge area of western Canada left 10 dead and 27 injured.
CBC News quoted Canadian authorities as saying that the shooting took place in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, and that six people were found dead at the high school and two others were found dead in a house. Police said about 100 students and staff at the high school were safely evacuated.
One person also died on the way to the hospital. The shooting suspect also died from “self-inflicted injuries,” police said.
In addition, two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and 25 others were injured.
