Significant decline in American support for the Zionist regime, according to a New York Times poll.

According to the poll, only 34 percent of American citizens still support Israel, compared to 47 percent at the start of the war.

In contrast, Americans’ sympathy and orientation toward the Palestinians has been on the rise, with 35 percent of respondents now considering themselves supporters of the Palestinians, compared to just 20 percent after October 7.

The majority of American voters also oppose sending more economic and military aid to Israel.

On the other hand, the poll’s findings show that 40 percent of Americans believe that Israel deliberately targets Palestinian civilians, up from 20 percent in the first days after the October 7 attack.

According to IRNA, polls conducted in the United States over the past year have shown a significant decline in the standing of the Zionist regime among the country’s public opinion, a trend that has prompted warnings from Zionist experts.

The Zionist newspaper Ma’ariv previously reported that support for the Zionist regime has declined among Americans, especially young people, according to a new poll.

According to Ma’ariv, the Harvard-Harris poll found that overall support for Israel has fallen from 80 percent to 75 percent among Americans surveyed over the past two years, while the percentage of those who oppose Israel has increased from 21 to 30.

The Zionist newspaper noted that support for Hamas is on the rise, with 25 percent of respondents saying they support Hamas over Israel, compared to 16 percent in November.

The poll found that support for Hamas is higher among young Americans, with 47 percent of those aged 18 to 24 saying they support the group more than Israel, compared to 38 percent of those aged 25 to 34.
