According to a report published by the French website Intelligence Online, an eight-year contract was signed to develop a new electronic defense system for protecting military and civilian aircraft.

According to the report, the Israeli company Elbit Systems informed the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange that the UAE wishes for the contract details to remain completely confidential.

The report adds that this is the first security contract signed between an Arab country and an Israeli security company since October 7.
