Now getting closer to the time of the US presidential election and the possibility of Donald Trump’s victory, in an interview with the Associated Press, he emphasized the necessity of denuclearization of North Korea by expressing implicit concern about the weakening of this alliance.
The President of South Korea told this news agency before leaving Seoul to participate in the meeting of the “Association of Southeast Asian Nations” (ASEAN) which is to be held in Laos: In this meeting, he will emphasize the denuclearization of North Korea as an important principle for regional peace.

The president of South Korea said: This is a clear message to the international community that they will never ignore North Korea’s reckless actions.
Yul further said: North Korea recently exposed and showed its nuclear facilities apparently to attract the attention of the United States and the international community on the eve of the American elections, and it seems that Pyongyang is ready for other provocative actions, such as a nuclear test.
The Associated Press reported: However, Yul says he is confident that the “ironclad” alliance between South Korea and the US will continue, regardless of the outcome of the US election.
