According to the Daily Mail, Patexy Lopez, a Spanish government official, said: If this scenario materializes, we will evaluate the situation at the appropriate time.

These statements come as a UN Commission of Inquiry has stated in a report that the Israeli regime has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Israel has not qualified for the World Cup since 1970.
Lopez continued: We cannot and must not remain silent in the face of what we see. Our eyes are open and we will not tolerate it.
The stance came two weeks after the 11th stage of the Vuelta a EspaƱa cycling race was abandoned due to protests by Palestinian supporters in the city of Bilbao. Protesters blocked the race route with anti-Israeli flags and slogans.
Senior Spanish officials have also repeatedly criticized the Israeli regime for killing civilians in Gaza in recent days.
