PNN – The Spanish Foreign Minister condemned Tel Aviv’s new plan to expand Zionist settlements in the West Bank.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian Information Center, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Álvarez announced that the decision of the Israeli cabinet to build 3,000 new housing units in the West Bank is a new violation of international law and undermines the path to a two-state solution.

In a post on the social network X, Albarez condemned the decision and emphasized that implementing such plans jeopardizes the prospects of achieving peace and establishing a Palestinian state.

The Spanish Foreign Minister also referred to the increase in settler violence in the West Bank, calling it a worrying and unacceptable act that exacerbates the worsening humanitarian and security situation of the Palestinians.

On the other hand, Khaled Ma’ali, a researcher on issues related to Zionist settlement construction, warned in an interview with Al-Aqsa Network about the consequences of settlement construction in the West Bank, saying: How can one imagine the state of Palestine in a situation where Zionist settlements have spread among cities, villages, hills, and mountains throughout the West Bank?

He referred to the announcement of the Smotret plan to realize what is called “Greater Israel” and explained that this plan includes extensive changes in the territories, the seizure of parts of Arab countries, and the rapid increase in settlement construction in the West Bank, which has been accompanied by silence from the region and the international community.

Ma’ali added that the green light from the US government and President Donald Trump has led Ben-Gower and his associates to expand settlement construction more rapidly and advance their plan to create a so-called “Greater Israel” and prepare the conditions for seizing and controlling parts of Arab countries.
