A group of Sunni scholars and clerics from Sistan and Baluchestan province issued a statement condemning the threat against the Supreme Leader and emphasizing: In the current situation, the only way to ward off evil from the people of God is to stand firm and united against the enemies.

In the name of Allah, the Merciful
Today, the need for the unity of the Islamic nation against the infidels is inevitable.
A review of past events in the world clearly shows that the long-standing enemies of Islam have come to the fore with all their might and force, and they are sparing no effort to destroy the rule of Islam in the world.
Enemies who sometimes appear on the real battlefield and sometimes pretend to be friends on the street in the guise of allies, but they destroy the property of Muslims and burn the Book of God…
Truly, in these circumstances, the only way to ward off evil from the people of God is to stand firm and united against the enemies.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, thanks to the blessing of a brave, insightful, and aware leadership, has always successfully overcome various incidents and trials. If it were not for this, we would have suffered no other fate than that of other Islamic countries in the region; nations that bowed down to infidelity or were defeated in battle with them.
We are grateful to God for the existence of such a leader; a leader who belongs to all free people and Muslims of the world, and today it is necessary and obligatory for all of us to protect their health and dignity (which is the dignity of Islam).
We, the Sunni scholars and clerics of Sistan and Baluchestan province, strongly condemn the statements and positions of this criminal gang in order to threaten the Supreme Leader, and declare that any attempt to harm his person, and even the expression of this crime, will be met with similar action and a crushing response from the Islamic nation.
