Taliban: Afghanistan’s airspace is still being violated by the US

PNN – Referring to the US drone patrol over Afghanistan, the Taliban government’s chief of staff said that the country’s airspace is still being violated by the US.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Fasihuddin Fitrat, the head of the army of the Taliban regime, announced in a television interview that American unmanned aerial vehicles patrol the country’s airspace from time to time.

Fitrat told “Tolua News” that drones patrol the skies of Afghanistan from time to time and America still violates the country’s airspace.

Earlier, the officials of the Taliban government had emphasized that drones are entering Afghanistan from Pakistan.

The Chief of Army Staff of the Taliban government also added: These fighters may enter the territory of Afghanistan from the territory of one of the neighboring countries.

He also stated that the number of armed forces operating in the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense and Intelligence of Afghanistan reaches 500 thousand and next year the army will increase to 200 thousand.

Further, Fitrat rejected the claims of arresting the forces of the previous government and said that no one has been arrested on this charge so far.

Regarding the reports about the sale of the remaining American weapons in Afghanistan, the Chief of Staff of the Taliban government also stated that his ruling body is in serious need of the remaining military equipment and will not allow its sale to anyone.
