In response to the summoning of the Turkish ambassador to occupied Palestine, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday night that Turkey showed its support for Hamas.

Turkey’s foreign ministry announced on Saturday that the Turkish ambassador in Tel Aviv was summoned following the continuation of attacks against civilians and ignoring calls for a ceasefire in Gaza.

On Friday, Erdogan stated that the priority now is a complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to achieve stability in the region, and said that the Zionists have been committing crimes in Gaza for 28 days.

In a speech on November 6, Erdogan emphasized that Hamas is not a terrorist group and that it is the Israeli regime that supports terrorists in Syria and Iraq. Statements that insulted the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations to the President of Turkey, and Gilad Erdan responded by saying, “A scorpion always remains a scorpion.”

In response to Turkey’s support for Hamas, the Israeli foreign minister claimed that he had ordered Israeli diplomats to return to occupied Palestine from Turkey. However, Turkish diplomatic sources, expressing surprise at this order, announced that these diplomats had already left Turkey on October 19.
