Tel Aviv violated the Gaza ceasefire; Washington/Trump is Israel’s only supporter.
“Omar Ja’arah” stated: “Israel’s intention to continue violating the ceasefire agreement, especially through the use of fighter jets and bombing civilians and their tents, is quite clear, and these actions are considered a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.”
He continued: “This indicates Washington’s complicity in supporting Israel’s policies, because it seems that the administration of US President Donald Trump insists on adopting policies similar to the approach of David Eisenhower (former US President) in 1956, when he ordered then Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion to withdraw unconditionally from the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula.”
Ja’arah stated: “Images published in the Israeli media show Netanyahu painting rocks black and away from the yellow line (referring to the signs created in Gaza), which indicates a lack of adherence to the second phase of the agreement.”
The expert added: Trump is the only supporter and main umbrella of the United States for Tel Aviv, and any attempt to criticize the policies of the occupiers or create obstacles in their path will lead to tension in relations between Washington and Tel Aviv.
According to IRNA, Steve Whittaker, the White House’s special envoy for the Middle East, hosted senior officials from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey in the US city of Miami on Friday and discussed the next stage of the agreement to end the Gaza war. This meeting is considered the highest level of consultation between mediators in the US since the signing of the ceasefire agreement on October 10.
According to the terms of the agreement, the Zionist regime is obliged to open the Rafah crossing in both directions and enter the second stage of the agreement, a stage that includes a further withdrawal of the Israeli army, the deployment of an international force, and the formation of a Palestinian state in Gaza. In contrast, Hamas, in accordance with its commitments within the framework of the agreement, has announced that it is ready to cooperate in forming a new governance structure and stabilizing the ceasefire.
The mediators are trying to break the deadlock in the implementation of the agreement by increasing pressure on the Israeli regime and Hamas, while Hamas has always emphasized that it is adhering to its commitments and that it is Tel Aviv that is violating the ceasefire with its actions.
