PNN – News sources reported an unsuccessful attempt by the Zionist regime to assassinate the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces while he was eating.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Arab 48, the Israeli media announced that Tel Aviv has failed to assassinate the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army.

The Hebrew-language website “Walla” reported on Sunday the failed attempt to assassinate Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Ghammari, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, and wrote: Reports indicated an attempt to assassinate Yemeni Army Chief of Staff, Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghammari, while he was dining with senior officials. However, the operation failed at the last minute and the senior Yemeni commander survived.

The Zionist media claimed: Amid the growing threat of Yemeni missiles and drones against Israel’s home front, the Israeli Military Intelligence Organization (AMAN) and Mossad are making intensive efforts to establish a broad target base to attack vital centers in Yemen.

Hebrew Media: Why is it difficult to defeat the Yemenis?

According to political sources interviewed by Walla, Tel Aviv cannot avoid responding to Yemeni attacks, and this would require the Israeli army to prepare for a special military operation, but one that would differ in approach from the recent US operation that failed to eliminate the Yemeni threat capabilities.

These sources claimed: The Israeli plan is based on a combination of several targets, including the Yemeni intelligence system, ports, military capabilities, and defense industries, so that a simultaneous attack would cause significant damage.

The Zionist media outlet acknowledged that the Yemeni strategic centers are hidden in underground facilities, making targeting them a complex challenge, especially since Israeli intelligence does not have a complete picture of their locations.

However, Zionist political sources claimed: The Houthis are under pressure and the attacks must be complex and comprehensive.

The American operation, which preceded the Israeli actions, was codenamed “Rough Knight.” The operation lasted from March to May, and during it, the US military conducted more than 1,000 airstrikes targeting Houthi command and control centers, air defense systems, and supply routes. The operation failed to prevent the launch of missiles and drones.

In contrast, Washington also suffered heavy losses, the most significant of which were the downing of seven drones worth approximately $30 million each and the downing of an F-18 fighter jet due to a security incident.

Despite the losses, the Yemeni forces showed exemplary resilience, which forced the United States to negotiate through regional mediators and to stop attacking Yemen.

Zionist sources claimed: Israel is seeking new and different methods against the Yemenis, especially since estimates indicate that they will increase the scope of their attacks as soon as Israel takes any large-scale military action in Gaza.
