This plan also includes the construction of schools, public buildings, parks, and commercial complexes.

The Gaza Settlement Council has described the construction of this complex as the largest settlement project in the history of the Gush Etzion area.

Since 2022, more than 48,000 Zionist units have been handed over to the Zionists in the West Bank, with an average annual number of over 17,000 units.

On August 20, 2025, the Israeli cabinet approved the “E1” plan, according to which 3,400 Israeli units are to be built in the south of the Ma’aleh Adumim area.

Almost all countries in the world consider the Zionist regime’s move to establish housing units to occupy most of the Palestinian lands illegal and have declared their opposition to it. The Israeli regime’s decision to build more settlement units comes just days after US President Donald Trump’s statements, in which he announced his opposition to the construction of settlements in the West Bank and the passage of laws related to the annexation of West Bank lands to the occupied territories.
