PNN – One of the legal experts pointed out that the Zionist regime uses hunger as a weapon against the residents of Gaza and America’s obstruction in establishing a ceasefire.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Shahab news agency, “Osame Saad”, a legal expert, said: The Israeli occupiers are using the weapon of starvation against the residents of Gaza, and they have been continuing this process for more than a year. The occupiers violate international laws with this crime.
He added: The policy of starving the residents of Gaza is in line with the genocidal war that the occupiers are committing against the Palestinians. The occupiers have used inhumane conditions against the civilians in Gaza to destroy it.
This expert emphasized: the occupiers cut off the water and starve the residents, bomb the civilians and destroy the houses on purpose. All these actions are in line with the ongoing genocidal war against the residents of Gaza.
This legal consultant stated: International justice has been suspended for more than a year and the international community is not fulfilling its duty. America has put obstacles in the way of the trial of the occupying leaders and provides continuous support to them.
He stated: America’s veto right against the ceasefire in Gaza is a clear proof of America’s alignment and companionship with the occupiers and the extremist leaders and cabinet of this regime.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Friday that as winter approaches, Palestinians across the Gaza Strip are in dire need of adequate shelter to protect them from the rain and cold.
He added that hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are currently living in makeshift shelters or damaged buildings, particularly in northern Gaza, where Israel’s ongoing war and siege has increased displacement and humanitarian needs.
According to the latest statistics of the United Nations, more than 36,000 tarpaulin tents and 58,000 temporary shelters have been prepared, but these aids are blocked outside Gaza and are awaiting entry permits.
The United Nations and humanitarian organizations have repeatedly called for unimpeded access for aid to Gaza and have warned of severe consequences if access to aid is restricted for civilians and the public.
