Tens of thousands of people in Istanbul came to the streets this morning to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime and to defend Gaza.
The city of Istanbul in Turkey saw a massive demonstration this morning on the Galata Bridge; a demonstration attended by officials of the country in support of the people of Gaza.
According to the Anatolian news agency, the demonstration was organized by the “Turkish Youth” institute with the slogan “God’s mercy on our martyrs, support for Palestine, and curse on Israel”. This institute includes several Turkish political figures, including Bilal Erdogan, the son of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as key members.
Participants in the demonstration, after performing the morning prayers in the mosques of Hagia Sophia, Amin Ounu, Sultan Ahmed, and Suleymaniye, moved towards the Galata Bridge, holding Turkish and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans.
Osman Askan Pak, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Fahrettin Koca, the Minister of Health, former Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mustafa Sentop, several members of parliament, and Bilal Erdogan, the eldest son of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and a member of the council of the “Turkish Youth Institute” were present in this march.
