Tensions rose in Tel Aviv amid the war.
According to the al-Mayadeen network, Channel 13 of the Zionist regime reported that there are widespread concerns in the security institutions of this regime regarding Benjamin Netanyahu’s intention to dismiss Yoav Galant, the Minister of War of Tel Aviv, even amid the war.
The channel added: There are fears and concerns that the United States will not support Tel Aviv before the International Criminal Court if Gallant is removed.
It is stated in this report: Gallant was supposed to be removed from his position last night, but Sara Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, has not yet approved Sa’er’s competence!
Channel 14 of the Zionist regime TV also reported that Gallant deliberately delayed joining the security cabinet meeting yesterday.
Ha’aretz newspaper quoted a European diplomat as saying: “We are trying to reach a prisoner exchange agreement with the Palestinian side, but it is difficult to cooperate with an official who is against this process.”
He further added: Gallant knows that if Israel goes to war with Lebanon, it is impossible to predict whether it will be able to end this war quickly or not.
A source in the American government also said about Gallant’s successor, Gideon Sa’er, that he is unknown outside of Israel. Like Gallant, Saar does not have a close relationship with America.
