Terrorists claim to have reached within two kilometers of the city of Aleppo.
According to Al Jazeera, terrorist groups claimed that after clashing with Syrian army forces and entering the “New Aleppo” neighborhood, they had reached two kilometers from the city of Aleppo in the west of the country.
The Al-Nashra news website also reported, citing sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition, that terrorists had taken control of the towns of Khan Toman and Zeitan in the southern suburbs of Aleppo.
The so-called “Syrian Opposition Military Operations” department claimed that they had taken control of the areas of “Khan Toman”, “Zeitan”, the villages of “Ma’ardabseh” and “Barna” and the scientific research center around the city of Aleppo.
This claim was made, and the Syrian army had not responded to it by the time this report was published.
