The 11th meeting of the Iran-Pakistan Special Security Committee was held

PNN – Simultaneously with the visit of the Deputy Minister of Interior of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the 11th meeting of the Special Security Committee of the two countries was held and the parties agreed on the development of bilateral cooperation in security, law enforcement and border areas.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Khorram Agha, Deputy Minister of Interior of Pakistan, at the head of a delegation consisting of representatives from relevant institutions of this country, traveled to Tehran to participate in the 11th Special Security Committee between Iran and Pakistan.

Ali Akbar Pourjamshidian, deputy security and law enforcement officer of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was the head of the Iranian side participating in this meeting.

Committee meetings were held on Saturday and Sunday in Tehran, and the parties discussed and exchanged views on strengthening and facilitating mutual cooperation in various fields of security, law enforcement, border, anti-trafficking, and terrorism.

The joint special security committee is a cooperation mechanism between two neighboring countries in the field of security and law enforcement, in which the relevant institutions of both countries participate in its discussions.

The 10th meeting of Iran-Pakistan Special Security Committee was held in Islamabad in July last year with the presence of our country’s security and law enforcement deputy, and its next meeting is also scheduled to be held in Islamabad.
