According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Ministry of Health of Palestine (Thursday, October 26) announced the increase in the number of martyrs of the bombings in the Gaza Strip to 7028 and announced that 2913 of them were children and 1709 were women.
Ashraf al-Qadara, the spokesman of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, announced that during the past hours, the occupying regime committed 43 new crimes, which left 481 victims. 1,650 people are still missing, of which 940 are children and displaced people. While condemning the Zionist regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people and journalists in the Gaza Strip, this organization announced that since the beginning of Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 24 journalists have been martyred and several journalists have been injured. In addition, the continuation of Gaza bombings has led to the martyrdom and injury of the family members of these journalists.
The Union of Palestinian Journalists, while offering condolences to the families of these martyrs, announced that the five journalists who have joined the ranks of their martyred comrades since Wednesday (October 25) are: Salmi Makhimer, Saeed Al-Halabi, Ahmed Abu Mahadi, Jamal Al-Faqawi. The last martyred journalist is Doaa Sharaf from Saut Al-Aqsa Radio, who was martyred along with his little son, Obeyda.
Earlier, this institution had announced the names of 19 martyred journalists in the Gaza Strip, which are: Muhammad Imad Labd, Ahmad Shahab, Muhammad Al-Salehi, Muhammad Fayez Abu Matar, Hisham Al-Nawajaha, Ibrahim Lafi, Saeed Al-Tawil, Muhammad Jarghun, Asad Shamlakh, Muhammad Abu Rizq, Salam Mimeh, Hossam Mubarak, Essam Bahar, Abdul Hadi Habib, Muhammad Baalusheh Khalil Abu Azrah, Samih Al-Nadi, Muhammad Abu Ali and Rushdi Al-Sarraj.
