When entering the court, Donald Trump added: “I am ten points ahead of Biden, and the purpose of my trial is to damage my reputation from the Democrats, and the country’s governance is immersed in corruption.”
Trump further told reporters: What happened to me is the biggest example of political persecution in the world. A crime has been committed against me and the Minister of Justice is a corrupt person. New York’s attorney general is racist and is eyeing the state’s governorship.

New York State Attorney General Letita James has accused Donald Trump and his company of defrauding banks, insurance companies and others by lying about his wealth on financial statements.
Ms. James, a Democrat, is seeking to fine Trump $250 million and issue a business ban on Trump in New York. The judge’s ruling last week, if upheld on appeal, would strip him of control of several Trump properties, including Trump Tower and an office on Wall Street.
On the other hand, one of the judges of this case, “Arthur Enguron”, has already ruled that Trump committed fraud in his business deals.
Ms. James’ complaint is one of Trump’s legal troubles, who is trying to return to the White House in 2024 through the presidential election. Trump has been indicted in four cases since March.
Trump, who is a member of the Republican Party and is currently the leading candidate of this party in the 2024 presidential election, has denied the accusations against him and accused the Democrats of political intentions to influence his election campaign.
