The anti-Zionist movements of the student movement in America and the invalidation of Western freedom of speech

PNN – In a report of the fourth day of protests by pro-Palestinian students in American universities, NBC news wrote that despite the risk of suspension and confiscation of student cards and expulsion from the dormitory, the students of Columbia University continued their protests and demanded the non-investment of this higher education institution in the occupied territories.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, one of the students told the NBC reporter: I was one of the students who was arrested and suspended. All these students who participate in the protests know that their security is greater in the crowd.

In other universities, students pitched tents in response to the nationwide invitation of supporters of Palestine and in protest of these institutions’ investment in the military industries of the Zionist regime and in solidarity with the students of Columbia University.

Remembering the long history of American universities playing a role in political protests, NBC wrote that in 1968, a group of students occupied a number of university buildings as a sign of protest against the Vietnam War.

NBC continued: These protests have been going on for 6 months and their dimensions have increased, which means that the student movement hopes for the results of its actions.

Minoush Shafiq, president of Columbia University, announced in a message on X that more than 100 students have started a sit-in and they have been warned in writing that if they do not collect their tents, they will face the consequences. Then the New York police raided the sit-in of pro-Palestinian students at Columbia University and dispersed them.

The Associated Press reported that 108 people, including Isra Hirsi, the daughter of US Congress legislator Ilhan Omar, have been accused of illegally entering the Ivy League and 2 others have been accused of disrupting the government’s activities. A number of students who participated in the sit-in and protest against Israel said they were suspended from attending Columbia University and Barnard College.

Columbia University officials announced that they are still identifying a number of other students participating in the protests, and more people will be suspended from attending the university.

NBC wrote yesterday that many of the protesting students of Columbia University, who demonstrated their opposition to the policies of the Israeli regime in Gaza and the killing of Palestinian civilians and were arrested by the New York police, returned to the protest scene after their release.

Protests are not limited to cooperation with the Zionist regime in the student community, and recently, the American company “Google” in a “retaliatory” action, fired 28 employees of this company because of their objection to the $1.2 billion contract to provide cloud services and artificial intelligence to Zionist regime fired.

A number of employees of this technology giant recently sat down and demonstrated for 10 hours in the offices of New York, Seattle, Sunnyvale and California in protest of the company’s cooperation with the Zionist regime.
