In this statement, the Arab League Secretariat condemned the continuous aggression and attacks of the Zionist regime on Syria and its infiltrations in the buffer zone and neighboring areas, calling it a clear violation of international law and the 1974 ceasefire agreement and the end of the conflict.

The Arab League further called on the international community, especially the Security Council and the powers active in the Middle East peace process, to fulfill their responsibilities and prevent this aggression, arrogance, and rebellion against Syria and the entire region.

The statement emphasized the need to stop Israel’s seditious policies and incitement to conflict, and held the Zionist regime responsible for this aggression.

At the end of the statement, the Arab League called on the Zionist regime to stop its attacks and immediately withdraw from the Syrian territories it has occupied since December 8, 2024.

According to IRNA, the Syrian town of Beit Jinn witnessed the Zionist regime’s aggression on Friday morning. Intense clashes occurred in this area between the Israeli army and the Syrians.

In this clash, 13 Israeli soldiers, including two officers, were injured, three of whom are in critical condition.

In this aggression, 13 Syrian citizens were also martyred, and 25 others were injured.

The town of Beit Jinn is located in the Damascus countryside, and Israeli television announced that this operation aimed to arrest wanted individuals from the “Islamic Group”.
