PNN – In a statement on Thursday night, the Arab League expressed its concern over the developments in Syria and emphasized the need for the government to have a monopoly on arms and to dissolve all armed groups and to prevent foreign interference.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Sharq Qatar newspaper, Ahmed Abul Ghait, Secretary General of the Arab Community, has announced that this organization is following the recent developments in some cities and regions of Syria with concern, which seems to be aimed at fueling internal disputes in this country.

This organization has once again emphasized its position of supporting the Syrian people and respecting their will and choice, which was mentioned earlier in the Aqaba statement.
The Arab League also demanded that all parties respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability of Syria.
In a statement, the Arab League claimed that the recent statements of Iranian officials provoke the forces and conflicts of internal groups in Syria.
