PNN – A US military civilian employee has been arrested for allegedly leaking classified defense information on a website.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the US Department of Justice announced that a civilian employee of the US Army was arrested on charges of disclosing classified defense information on a foreign online dating platform.
According to this report, 63-year-old David Franklin Slaughter was arrested last Friday on three charges in Nebraska, and his first court hearing is expected to be held today.

In the indictment issued against the man, he is accused of sending classified information about the Russian-Ukrainian war through e-mails and online messages to a woman living in Ukraine.
Accordingly, the identity of this woman, who called Slaughter her “secret agent” and “secret love of the informant”, has not been specified in this indictment.
The Justice Department said Slaughter had retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army but previously served as a civilian employee in the Air Force and was assigned to the U.S. Army Strategic Command at Offat Air Force Base in Nebraska.
Accordingly, if he is found guilty in court, he will be sentenced to up to 10 years in federal prison for each of his charges.
