PNN – The spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House stated that the US is focused on providing the weapons needed by Tel Aviv for operations in southern Gaza, claiming that Washington does not support the occupation or annexation of the Gaza Strip.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, “John Kirby”, the coordinator of strategic communications in the National Security Council of the White House, claimed on Thursday morning: “Israel does not deliberately target civilians, but we also do not want to see more civilians killed.”
“We are focusing on providing weapons and military systems to Israel for its operations in southern Gaza,” Kirby said during a press conference at the White House.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he also claimed: “We do not support the military occupation of Gaza, the annexation of the territory of the Gaza Strip or the deportation of people out of Gaza.”

The spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House, while trying to justify the attacks of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip, stated: “The Israeli army’s mission to save civilians from the consequences of war is very difficult due to the presence of Hamas among civilians.”
Accordingly, Kirby asserted that the future form of Gaza’s government must be representative of the Palestinians and their aspirations, claiming: “We are working to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza and keep it flowing, with or without a ceasefire.”
Claiming that US President Joe Biden does not support any military occupation of Gaza or the forced relocation of the residents of this region, he added: “We will continue to make sure that humanitarian aid reaches the Gaza Strip even in the absence of a ceasefire.”
Earlier, the US Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday evening that they continue to talk with the Zionist regime and discuss their daily needs for the Gaza war.
