The Biden administration doubts Israel’s ability to eliminate Hamas.
The Wall Street Journal quoted an Israeli officer as saying that the most complicated stages of the war in Gaza have not yet begun. The Israeli officer said that the further the Israeli army advances, the more complicated the clashes become.
The Wall Street Journal, citing a source, wrote that the American intelligence community doubts Israel’s ability to achieve its goal of eliminating Hamas. This source said that Israeli operations may damage Hamas and its infrastructure, but they will not be able to eliminate its ideology.
