The Board of Governors issued a resolution against Iran’s nuclear program.
According to Reuters, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency approved the resolution proposed by the European Troika, including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, along with the United States.
Accordingly, the draft resolution was finally put to a vote after being distributed among the members of the Board of Governors, which was approved with 19 votes in favor, 3 against, and 12 abstentions.
Russia, China, and Burkina Faso were the three countries that voted against the resolution proposed by the West against Iran at the Board of Governors meeting.
The resolution states: Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, must prepare a comprehensive report on the status of Iran’s nuclear activities and Tehran’s cooperation with the Agency before the Board of Governors meeting in March and present it at the next meeting.
