PNN – Newsweek weekly wrote: American voters are very dissatisfied with the way the Joe Biden government managed the Gaza crisis, and this has reduced the popularity of the American president catastrophically.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this American weekly newspaper wrote: Immediately after the October 7 attack by Hamas forces on the positions of the Israeli regime, Biden expressed his solidarity with this regime. But six months after this initial stance, American voters are increasingly dissatisfied with his administration’s handling of the Gaza war.
According to this report, three surveys conducted exclusively and commissioned by Newsweek by the Radfield Institute and Wilton Strategies, show that since December, American voters’ dissatisfaction with Biden’s performance in this crisis has greatly increased.
An expert on Middle East issues and American foreign policy said in an interview with Newsweek: It is very difficult for Biden to explain the issue of the Israeli regime to his supporters during the election campaigns. However, another American political analyst stated: other issues are the priority of American voters.
The first poll of 1,500 eligible voters across the United States was conducted on October 29, eleven days after Biden fully endorsed Tel Aviv. This survey, with a margin of error of 2.53, showed that 37% of Americans approve of Biden’s performance in managing this war, and 35% are against it.
Another poll with the same number of voters conducted on December 8 showed that 39 percent approve of Biden’s performance and 33 percent disapprove.

Jerusalem Post: “Israel” between the hammer of global pressure and the anvil of failure in Gaza
But the events that happened after that and led to the martyrdom of at least 33,000 Palestinians have changed the situation.
American authorities have not prevented military aid to the Israeli regime, on the contrary, according to a new report by the Washington Post, the United States has authorized the transfer of 1,800 2,000-pound MK-84 bombs and other weapons to this regime.
According to the Newsweek report, Biden’s support for the transfer of aid to the besieged Gaza, as well as the transfer of cargo by air, increased his support to 51 percent in the Radfield and Wilton Institute survey.
However, nearly half of American voters (44 percent) said that the country’s efforts to transfer humanitarian aid to Hamas-controlled areas have not changed their views on the management of this crisis in the Biden administration.
Overall, the recent Newsweek survey showed that opposition to Biden’s performance due to his support for Israel has increased to 39%, and only 30% approve of his performance.
The more important thing is that almost a quarter (23%) of the so-called “Generation Z” voters (born between 1997 and 2012) consider Biden responsible for the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.
This figure is much higher than the 8% of voters belonging to this generation who hold Hamas responsible for this situation. 12% consider Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, and 10% consider the army forces of this regime to be responsible for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The issue of Israel has worried the Democrats about the outcome of the November presidential election, especially that more than 100,000 voters in the primary election in the state of Michigan protested Biden’s policy towards this regime as “non-committed”.
