PNN – The German magazine “Profile” reported that despite the repeated verbal support of the German Chancellor for military aid to the Zionist regime, the Federal Security Council under his chairmanship has not approved the export of arms to Tel Aviv for months.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the website of the Jerusalem Post newspaper today, citing a recent report of this German publication, wrote that no license has been issued to export arms to Israel since March.
At the beginning of Israel’s war against Gaza, arms export licenses to Israel worth 326 million euros were issued, which was ten times the amount in 2022 and before the war.

According to this report, with the decrease in licensing, German arms exports to Israel have decreased significantly compared to last year and dropped from 326 million euros to 14.5 million euros by August 21 of this year.
In addition, the Ministry of Economy, which is responsible for handling export licenses approved by political authorities, stated in response to a question in this regard: The federal government has taken the allegations related to the possible violation of international humanitarian law very seriously and has publicly and privately announced its expectations that Israel will comply with international humanitarian law in exercising its right to self-defense.
The Jerusalem Post quoted the Bild newspaper as saying that, meanwhile, Berlin has agreed to sell German heavy weapons to Qatar, which is considered one of the most important supporters of Hamas.
