According to this report, although Iran is not mentioned in these documents, the reporter of this network says that the payment of these expenses is due to the concern of Iran’s action against these former officials of the Trump administration. Among other things, it has been said that although John Bolton had no security arrangements after leaving the White House, since December 2021 when he was threatened by Iran, the American government has been protecting him 24 hours a day.
