PNN – The National Interest magazine, in an article looking at the costs of the Gaza war, which is paid by the Washington government using American funds to support the multi-faceted attacks of the Zionist regime, wrote: The time has come to stop the transfer of weapons from the United States to Tel Aviv.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from this American publication, the decision of the US President Joe Biden’s administration to send the THAAD missile defense system and 100 US troops to Israel for its operation and support indicates Washington’s latest actions in support of Tel Aviv’s multi-faceted war in the region.
According to this American publication, the costs of this support are increasing rapidly and the deployment of American forces in Israel increases the risk of direct involvement of the United States in the war.
Acknowledging the human costs of this war, including the deaths of over 42,000 women, children, and civilians, and the displacement of millions of people in the Gaza Strip, National Interest considers the transfer of weapons from America to Israel to be the cause of this devastating conflict and its end as a necessity.

This publication further pointed to another category of expenses that are spent by the United States for the Zionist war in Gaza and added: Although this group has not received as much attention as Washington’s arms aid, it has played a significant role in the continuation of Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
The author of this article, referring to a report prepared in collaboration with other members of the American think tank Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, estimates that the weapons provided from Washington to Tel Aviv from American taxes since the beginning of the war in Gaza are at least $22.76 billion. In addition, the Biden administration has sold more than 20 billion dollars of weapons to Tel Aviv in the form of a sales contract, which is supposed to be delivered to the Israeli military in the coming years.
It is said that these contracts include the possible transfer of F-15 fighters, artillery shells and guided bombs, and it is emphasized in them that a part of this sale will be paid from the US military aid to Israel.
According to the author, all of the above except for the cost of deploying aircraft carriers and sending more troops to the region, countering the attacks of the Yemeni forces in the Red Sea and supporting Tel Aviv against Iran.
At the end of the allocation of 22 billion dollars in military aid to Israel since the beginning of the war in Gaza, the National Interest considers the other urgent needs of the people of the United States, including funds for the Centers for Disease Control and the Environmental Protection Agency, to be very large and emphasizes: The time has come for the public and a larger group in Congress to stop the transfer of US arms to Israel and pressure the Washington administration with the goal of a peaceful end to the wars in the Middle East. In this regard, the author points out: if the current wars get out of control, we will all lose.
