PNN – A Hebrew-language newspaper acknowledged the shortage of personnel to fill command positions in the Israeli army.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language newspaper Ma’ariv admitted that the Israeli army is suffering from a shortage of 300 officers to occupy command positions in the ground forces.

The report continues, stating that this shortage of personnel is most evident in the engineering unit. The Israeli army has acknowledged that it is difficult to convince specialized soldiers to join the officer course.
Maariv added that the regime’s army has been forced to employ officers in recent months who have not completed the necessary command courses.
It was previously reported that increasing the presence of female Israeli soldiers in combat operations in Gaza and Lebanon is a solution to compensate for the shortage of manpower in the Israeli army.
