PNN – Hundreds of supporters of Palestine in London demonstrated on Monday to protest the continuation of brutal crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and once again showed their support and solidarity with the oppressed and defenseless people of Palestine.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, people participating in this protest gathered in front of the British Parliament holding Palestinian flags and placards with anti-Israeli slogans.
Chanting “Free Palestine” and “Stop supporting Israel”, they demanded an end to London’s military and political support for Tel Aviv.
Today’s demonstration was the first protest rally in the New Year and part of a broad movement that has been accompanied by an increase in popular support in England over the past year.
One of the participants in this rally said: The British government should stop military and political support for Israel. Palestinians have been living in unjust conditions for decades and we cannot remain silent in the face of this oppression.

The British government does not consider the brutal crimes of the Israeli regime in Gaza as “genocide”.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently claimed in the House of Commons: I have never described what is happening in Gaza as genocide, but I agree that both sides must respect international law.
However, those who participated in today’s demonstration described the occupation regime’s crimes as a clear symbol of genocide and emphasized that the silence of the Western governments, including England, has caused the impunity of the Zionist regime and the continuation of this regime’s crimes in Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than thousands of Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been martyred and injured.
This regime has also passed a law, contrary to the warning of the international community, which prohibits the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) inside occupied Palestine.
Despite all these crimes, the Zionist authorities have admitted that after a year has passed, this regime has not yet been able to achieve its goals from this war, namely the destruction of the Hamas movement and the return of the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
