The daughter of the Israeli regime’s foreign minister publicly distanced herself from her father’s positions.
The Hebrew-language news site Kippa quoted Alona Saar as saying, “As an actor and artist, I am going through a difficult time dealing with my father’s positions, because I don’t like to be connected to my father at all, like Yair and Sara Netanyahu.”
She added, “I am a leftist, so I feel a large and growing distance between myself and my father in political positions.”
I am one of those who want the immediate fall of the Netanyahu cabinet, and my father’s joining this cabinet has made me angrier as a voter.”
At the very least, he betrayed my vote and did something he shouldn’t have done. He has disappointed me as a voter first and then as a father.
On a personal and emotional level, these behaviors deeply upset me because, in any case, he is my father, and he has trapped himself in a sick environment. I don’t like bad people to surround my father, whom I personally love.
