PNN – The spokesperson of Gaza Municipality announced that more than 70% of the city’s infrastructure has been destroyed, and these conditions have led to the closure of basic services and the difficulty of daily life in the midst of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in this region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestine Information Center, “Hasna Mehna” added in a news conference: The widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip has caused a severe water shortage, sewage network failure, garbage accumulation, road network and streets destruction, lack of electricity and energy, and this is in a situation where the limited facilities of the municipality have reduced the service to the lowest possible level.
The spokesperson of the Gaza Municipality added that the Zionist regime’s military continues to prevent the entry of heavy machinery into the Gaza Strip, which has hindered the removal of debris and the reopening of the streets, and has delayed the resumption of transportation and movement in residential and commercial areas.
He said: 133 machines of the Gaza municipality were destroyed in the war of the Zionist regime against the residents of this area, which includes 80% of the total capacity of the municipality, and the remaining 20% ​​are old and worn out vehicles.

This official further emphasized the need for immediate action by international officials and relief organizations to bring in equipment, fuel and energy in order to save the residents of the Gaza Strip from a serious humanitarian crisis.
The Zionist regime, supported by the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023 to January 19, 2025, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than 157,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, were martyred and injured, and more than 14,000 people went missing.
Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime admitted that after 470 days of war against the residents of Gaza, it could not achieve its goals of this war, namely the destruction of the Hamas movement and the return of the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip, and was forced to accept a ceasefire.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist regime came into effect on the morning of Sunday, January 19, 2025, and its first phase will last for 6 weeks. During this stage, the implementation of the agreement in the second and then the third stage will be negotiated.
This agreement was reached with the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and the United States and several rounds of negotiations were held in Cairo and Doha.
Since the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the operation of searching for missing persons and removing the bodies of martyrs from the rubble has begun, and every day, more and more martyrs are removed from the rubble in different areas of this strip.
