The Devastation of Gaza: 85,000 Tons of Bombs and a Human Toll.
According to Al Jazeera, the Civil Defense Organization of the Gaza Strip announced that the Zionist occupation regime does not allow relief teams to access the bombed areas to remove the bodies of the martyrs from under the rubble.
This organization issued a statement and added: “Since the beginning of the war, 82 of our forces have been killed by Zionist bullets, and our headquarters and vehicles have been subjected to artillery and air attacks by the occupying regime.” The occupiers refuse to coordinate the access of our forces to the bombed areas.
The Gaza Civil Defense Organization emphasized that the occupying regime has surrounded the Palestinians in an area of less than 11% of the Gaza Strip. So far, this regime has dropped about 85,000 tons of explosives on people in the Gaza Strip, which has destroyed more than 80% of the urban structure and 90% of the infrastructure.
This local organization in the Gaza Strip also announced: The bodies of 10,000 martyrs are still under the rubble, and due to the occupation regime preventing the entry of the necessary equipment, we have not yet been able to remove them from the ruins. The bodies of 1,760 martyrs have been completely decomposed due to the use of internationally prohibited weapons by the occupiers. The bodies of 2,210 martyrs have also disappeared from different cemeteries in the Gaza Strip.
In its statement, the Civil Defense Organization of the Gaza Strip demanded the provision of the necessary fuel, equipment, and spare parts to continue providing aid to the war-torn Palestinian people.
