The Economist analyzes Erdogan’s political game in Türkiye.

These days in Turkey, as the economic crisis continues, the media is trying to reduce the number of reports and articles criticizing Erdogan as much as possible.

They are trying to remove Erdogan from the circle of criticism by highlighting issues such as the unprecedented forest fires, the achievements of Turkey’s defense industries, and news related to the disarmament of the PKK.

But this move by the Turkish Justice and Development Party’s media galaxy has not been effective even within the country, let alone countering the analyses published in foreign media about Erdogan’s totalitarianism and authoritarian behavior.

Not long ago, in a detailed report by The Times, Erdogan was criticized as a totalitarian leader, and now it is the turn of the British magazine The Economist to criticize the Turkish president.

There are only two places to defeat a rival

An analysis by the British magazine The Economist points out that, from the perspective of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, there are only two areas to inflict defeat on a political rival:

1. Using extensive advertising and electoral facilities to win votes and inflict defeat on the rival.

2. If the election results are not achieved, a way must be found to imprison the rival by filing a case and using the tools of the judiciary!
